Maggi gets great satisfaction from looking after people as she was previously a nurse. She has a qualification in Catering and holds a Food Hygiene Certificate. As a frequent guest of many B & B's, Maggi has learnt what makes a great place to stay and she is passionate about making sure Hilltop B & B ticks all the right boxes for you. To further enhance your stay, Maggi has also studied Feng Shui and Interior Design so each bedroom is designed to optimise a peaceful night's sleep.

Since graduating from Oxford University with an honours degree in Engineering Science, Alan followed a career in Engineering and now runs his own business selling Engineering software, training and consulting (see www.adpltd.uk.com).  Alan enjoys photography especially photographing at Rock Groups and Stars (see www.concertphotos.uk.com).  Whenever Alan can find the time, he enjoys a game of  tennis.
